A hardy perennial this dies back in autumn and re emerges again in spring. Hardy to -10 degrees or more, this will take a year or two to establish, but otherwise easy to look after. Cut back the old stems before the new shoots begin to show in spring. I have discovered that this refers shade rather sun.
