A hardy perennial, this is hardy to -10 degrees or more, will die back in autumn and grow again in spring. Very easy to grow and ideal for shadier spots in the garden. Also, will seed around if allowed to, although they may be more black than the original. Cut back old foliage before new leaves grow.
