Hardy to -10 degrees or more. A hardy perennial this dies back in autumn and re emerges again in spring. Cut back the old foliage before new leaves start to grow in spring. Leaves can suffer from mildew later in the season. This is often appears in warm, damp weather and accentuated by lack of air flow around the plant. Try not to let the plant become confined by surrounding plants.
