An old Ballard variety. The stiff, upright stems are topped with clusters of pure white double flowers that eventually open up to reveal yellow centres. Deep green, glossy leaves are carried the length of the stems. This forms an upright clump.

Upright plant
Hardy to -10 degrees or more. A hardy perennial this dies back in autumn and re emerges again in spring. Cut back the old foliage before new leaves start to grow in spring. Leaves can suffer from mildew later in the season. This is often appears in warm, damp weather and accentuated by lack of air flow around the plant. Try not to let the plant become confined by surrounding plants.
