Baptisia alba
(White wild indigo)
Tall stems of small, white, pea-like flowers form loose spikes, somewhat like a lupin. The flower stems are greyish and the oval leaves are light green. Later, black seed pods appear. Slow growing but eventually it will from a nice, upright mounding clump.
