Brunnera macrophylla 'Silver Heart'

(Siberian bugloss)

Sprays of tiny, bright blue flowers - like forget-me-nots - are borne on slender stems just above a mound of very handsome leaves. Each mid-green, heart-shaped leaf is coated with silver, then etched with green. Said to be sun resistant, but I've found little problem with any of the silver leaved Brunneras. Perhaps its because we are in Wales.
