Carex 'The Beatles'

Carex 'The Beatles'
  • Carex-the-beatles
For those old enough to remember The Beatles the name is obvious. A hair-like mop of very fine, bright green leaves curl downwards to form a round mound. As the leaves get bigger they can trail across the soil. Evergreen and good in pots. I've not actually seen any flowers, but I am sure they will appear, when they do the green spikes are carried on short stems.
