Long sprays of tiny pale pink flowers, with darker pink middles, are carried above a mound of long, pointed, mid-green leaves that are brushed with dark red in spring. According to one website this plant was selected by American Dan Hinkley who bought the original seedling from Elizabeth Strangfield's Washfield Nursery.
