Selected from the many hardy geraniums that seeded around my mother’s garden in Albrighton years ago. This has proved to be an enduring plant; robust, free-flowering and pretty. The very pale pink, wide-trumpet like flowers are scattered above a mound of round, notched, mid-green leaves that have dark maroon dots at the base. Each is lightly pencilled with fine veins of mauve. The mound of leaves beneath the flowers is mid-green and the leaves are dotted with purple at where the leaves divide.

Mounding plant
A hardy perennial, this means the leaves will die back in spring. These will survive temperatures of -10 degrees or more. This geranium will take some time to grow to its final size, but once established will need little attention. Cut back the autumn browned foliage before spring. Liable to seed about!
