Our native hellebore (rarely seen), thick upright, purple-tinted stems carry clusters of small, green, ball-like flowers that open into little cups and are rimmed with purple. These borne above an evergreen mound of finger-like, deep green leaves. Great for shady locations.

Care advice

A hardy perennial, this survives temperatures down to -10 degrees or more and being evergreen, the leaves remain all year round. Remove the old brown leaves as and when. Should seed around when happy.
