Iris 'By Jeeves'

Iris 'By Jeeves'
  • Iris-by-jeeves
The rosy-purple flowers have plainly coloured standards, while the falls are very dark purple and velvety to the touch. Right at the back white veins radiate nicely from the stumpy orange beards. A band of rosy-purple rims the falls in a neat frill and the back of each fall is paler in colour. The standards are very ruffled.

Care advice

Bearded irises need to be planted with the rhizome, or root, just above the soil. This is because the rhizome needs to be baked by the sun in order to form flowers. Make sure that there is not too much competition from surrounding plants and remove any weeds.
