Iris 'Devil's Dream'
The flowers of this elegant plant are a fabulous colour, that is for anyone who wants a deep red-purple coloured iris. The falls, which flare outwards are velvety and the standards are slightly paler in colour. The flowers rise well above the foliage.

Siberian irises are tolerant of a wider range of soils than Bearded irises, but they do prefer a moist soil. However, if the soil drains well during the summer, the trick is to make sure they do not dry out when they are first planted. Very hardy to -10 degrees or more, the leaves die back in autumn and emerge again in spring. Remove old foliage before new leaves start to grow. Does not need frequent division like bearded irises.
