Raised by Thomas Johnson of Oregon and Introduced in 2019 the standards of this wonderful frilly pink iris are slightly paler in colour to the falls. The lavender beards are brushed with orange. Flowered easily the first year after planting in my garden (2020).
Bearded irises need to be planted with the rhizome, or root, just above the soil. This is because the rhizome needs to be baked by the sun in order to form flowers. Make sure that there is not too much competition from surrounding plants and remove any weeds.
