Iris 'Table For Two'

Iris 'Table For Two'
  • Iris-table-for-two
Not over-large, the flowers on this handsome plant have velvety dark brown falls with short rivers of white radiating from the yellow beard. These form a perfect half moon at the top of the falls. The copper standards are heavily flushed with purple from the base upwards. Very lightly scented, the blooms of this early flowering plant open all the way down the stem. Lovely.

Care advice

Bearded irises need to be planted with the rhizome, or root, just above the soil. This is because the rhizome needs to be baked by the sun in order to form flowers. Make sure that there is not too much competition from surrounding plants and remove any weeds.
