Iris 'White Amber'
In terms of 'modern' sibirian irises this has been around for a while. This was one of the first yellow sibs I saw with soft yellow round falls that are richer in colour around the edges. The sandards are softest lavender. A short plant introduced by Marty Schafer and Jan Sacks (USA) 2001

Siberian irises are tolerant of a wider range of soils than Bearded irises, but they do prefer a moist soil. However, if the soil drains well during the summer, the trick is to make sure they do not dry out when they are first planted. Very hardy to -10 degrees or more, the leaves die back in autumn and emerge again in spring. Remove old foliage before new leaves start to grow. Does not need frequent division like bearded irises.
