A tight upright clump of light green, slim, evergreen leaves gives rise to slender, slightly branched stems that are topped with soft blue cupped stars. I have found this hardy perennials survives -10 degrees despite the RHS website zones its survival to -5 and no more. However, I will say that I grow this plant under a tree peony and behind a hawthorn hedge so perhaps it is being sheltered from cold winds.
