Hardy to -10 degrees and more, the foliage dies back in autumn and grows again in spring. Remove old foliage in spring before the new leaves start to shoot. A bit of a creeper especially in damp soils, this might need a bit of culling sometimes. If the leaves flop due to dry weather, once it rains they soon recover.
