Peony 'Tranquil Dove'

A lovely name for a lovely plant. Two rows of round, lightly notched, white petals are stained along the edges with rose-pink. In hot sun and with age the pink shade fades, sometimes nearly disappearing. In the centre gold stamens, with red filaments, forms a ring around a dramatic cluster of reddish carpels. Borne on strong stems with smallish, dark green leaves.
