Rose Companion Collection
We are often asked what plants can be grown beneath rose bushes. So for those with this question, here is a selection of hardy perennials we grow that are low enough to put below your roses, and tall enough to grow between or behind. This collection of flowering plants includes some of the most popular varieties from our nursery, including ones that will attract pollenating insects. If you fertilise your roses, remember that perennials do not like a lot of manure or heavily fertilising. This can cause the plants to put too much growth on and fail to flower, or rot in worst case scenarios. When ordering, to save confusion, please take a note of the plants in this collection as by the time you receive them they may have changed. Featured plants run approximately from tallest (top left hand corner) to shortest (bottom right hand corner).
